EduCode Academy Collaborates with Université de Moncton for Youth Summer French Coding Camp

"Due to our initial involvement in 2016/17 with the French school board in New Brunswick, we had originally designed and created our first two courses in French, so we had the course material and the platform already in the French language. We were glad to be able to provide it for this camp – and now also for our French-speaking customers around the world." stated Peter Hess, CEO of EduCode Canada.

During part of the month of July 2021, UdeM utilized the French version of EduCode Academy online courses with a group of N.B. students. According to Ms. Jo-Annie Ouellette, one of the camp organizers: "We had great feedback from the kids, they loved the camp!". Ms. Ouellette added further: "The EduCode platform is very easy to use, very dynamic and easy to understand. From the teacher's perspective, it's great to have access to all the lessons and to be able to see the progress of the students. The students loved their experience!" One student's feedback following the course was: "It's a good introduction for beginners. It made me discover that I like coding." By all accounts the summer camp was a resounding success.

EduCode™ Canada is a globally focused educational technology company developing software and tools to facilitate the learning of Computer Science (CS) for learners 10 years old and above. Our online platform allows teachers and parents anywhere to deliver an in-depth CS curriculum to their children, in school or at home, without the need for prior training in CS. Our goal is to prepare our youth for their future careers in the 4th Industrial Revolution, by helping them cultivate creativity, problem-solving skills, computational thinking, digital literacy and citizenship. In today's technologically advanced world, we believe children not only need to learn to code, but they should use code to continuously explore, learn and innovate.
